Description
The LightWELD Carbon Fiber Welding Helmet is a lightweight, high performance helmet engineered to deliver advanced operator protection when working with LightWELD handheld laser welding systems. The helmet features an ultra lightweight carbon fiber shell combined with integrated UV and IR filtration specifically designed for laser welding applications. A scratch resistant coating adds durability and helps protect the welding filter lens during daily use.
EN207 Compliant
Unlike standard carbon fiber helmets, the LightWELD Carbon Fiber Welding Helmet is designed to meet EN207 laser safety requirements. The helmet and lens system are constructed from advanced materials capable of protecting the user from direct exposure to full laser output for a minimum of 10 seconds without failure, delivering a higher level of laser safety performance.
ANSI Z87+ Rated
The LightWELD Carbon Fiber Welding Helmet is rated to ANSI Z87+W16 in accordance with American National Standards Institute requirements. It provides enhanced impact protection and is approved for welding applications. The helmet meets high mass impact, high velocity impact, and penetration test standards, including impact testing above 100 mph, offering robust protection that may reduce the need for additional impact safety glasses under the helmet.
